TradeKing is one of the most remarkable brokerage firms I have tried working with and even just reading reviews about the firm excited me. This is a brokerage firm that really places their focus on the customer’s needs not only as a new customer to get your business but also as a long time customer.

There are reasons why I recommend TradeKing to friends that are looking for a brokerage firm and what I tell them is this is a great firm, not just a good one. My reasons begin with the way they treat their customers and then the website that is easy to use, even for someone that is not that experienced on the Internet and of course the extras.

• The website does not go down or give the message unresponsive service, unlike other companies during high customer hours, like when the market is crashing. Some companies even offer money to use their service but not being able to conduct business because most people are logged on, doesn’t make their offer a bonus.

• The interface on the website is easy to use from one page to the next, functions properly and it prompts that make sense.

Then there is the company and the way it works that is terrific, the inexpensive stock trades, the options and the fast action and routing that every stock broker wants to get shares at the optimum price. Then add to that the research tools that make it even better, because it is a place to find all the information you need in one place instead of having to search the Internet sites for what you need.

I have also found the few times I have used it that TradeKing has low margin rates, add to that the fast execution and routing and it is a recipe for success. There are other stock brokerage companies on the Internet and while they are alright and might have some benefits they just don’t seem to stand up to TradeKing for watching, investing and monitoring the stocks I want information on or done as easily as I can do it.

I don’t think I would want to deal with any other brokerage firm, now that I am spoiled with the easy to use website and customer friendly company. I have tried other brokerages and while they might have done what I needed, they were not as easy or efficient to use and that is important for me with my limited patience when it comes to stocks and the market. I am one of those people that want to buy and sell at the right price, not end up with the system bogging down, since everyone else is doing the same thing.

We all know that stock brokers have an obligation to execute the customer’s orders at the best price but with TradeKing the speed is there to execute transactions at the best possible time and that mean an improvement in both opportunities and liquidity. One of the advantages with this brokerage is if the broker does not obtain the best price that is available then the trade is free. That isn’t going to be found at many other brokerage firms.

Taxes are one of the other places where TradeKing has advantages for the customer, because as much as we all hate to do our taxes and as complicated as they are this is a brokerage that makes it a little easier. They have a system with that can track the cost basis of securities, adjust for mergers and generate a schedule D automatically.
